December corn was down 2 3/4 cents, November soybeans were down 7 1/2 cents, and September Kansas City (HRW) wheat was up 5 1/4 cents.
The cattle complex should open moderately higher, supported by follow-through buying and the potential of premium cash sales Lean hog contracts are also likely to move moderately higher thanks to further short-covering and technical buying.
